The psychic world has just exploded in the past 10 years with so called psychic mediums popping up from inside of book stores through different media venues, on street corners under glowing palms and all over the internet who say they can see what you need them to see. 20 years ago in Los Angeles their were very few psychic mediums who would appear on local media outlets admitting to being psychic. At the time I started doing TV 22 years old I was accepted exactly as I looked, currently they like to challenge the authentisity of an attractive Psychic- Medium in favor of presenting an image of an drunk out of control rude psychic or old out dated innacurate person who’s credability can be questioned because of their attitude. If a Psychic Medium is attractive and respectful of wording and compassionately educated the the Metaphysical words develops more strength. Regardless of how we see the Psychic world there are people who either embrace it or reject it, I see it as authentic truth or false, good or bad..

Then came along a little NBC show called “The Other Side” 1994-1995 hosted by an ordained minister Will, a one hour talk show that featured the work and experiences of psychic mediums healers and other metaphysical people, it was in this format that I first became aware of a not famous Sylvia Browne and as I describe in my book, at the time only local people who went to Sylvia for reading knew who she was.

I was working on the show andn was booked on 2 different shows, filming back to back, one with my work with street kids and the second on the energy of depression. While waiting to go on air I sat in the former Tonight show greenroom, waiting to go on camera, the room was filled with atleast 30 different people who had come to see if they could speak to a psychic. I was sitting next to the food tray as I always do when I noticed this light complected young man walking around the room I had no idea who he was but he was stopping and talking to people asking them what they were their for? Numerous different people started telling the young man why they wanted to see the psychic, the one who would be on camera just prior to my segmeant. She too was sitting in that same green room near the door and the young man took aboslutely no notice of her. He then came up to me and asked me what I was doing there.?

I said I’m the medium who works with street kids, he didn’t seem interested and moved on to a little kid across the isle, this boy was about 14 years old and looking bewildered, he told the young man that he had just lost his 18 year old brother on a motorcycle and then his dog died and he wanted to know if his brother was with his dog. It was really rather sweet and uncomplicated and that litle boy deserved to hear correct un staged information.
As I stood behind the curtain watching this relatively “unknown” psychic Sylivia start her readings I watched, as she started to receit vebadum what the 12 year old boy had asked she spoke exactly with the wording he had used implying his brother and dog were indeed together. It truly struck me as odd because, being in this field and knowing how the wording comes through it very rarely comes through that preceisely.

Following her segmeant I went to do my segmeant, with the street kids and was subsiqyuently followed by another realatively unknown at that time psychic James Van Prauug, this is before any one had reached international public recognition, all of us were know locally. Finished with my work on stage, I went back to that same green room to change into my other outfit for the depression episode. Sylvia Browne walked right into that same greenroom followed by the young man who previously had ignored her one of the producers was with them arranging the payment, and I kid you not due to her tax troubles at the time Sylvia tucked the money into her bra, no one else was there but the producer, Sylvia the young man and myself, the young man hugged whom I heard him say Mother and left the building together. It was at that exact moment that I realized that young man had given her the informaion she had needed to go on stage and read and present the scripted apperance of accuracy. Years later that young man is now know as her son who apparently carries her gift for reading, which brings me to the point of this blog:
With the influx of Psychics Mediums who think they can make it rich quick like the other so called media Psychics. why isn’t the public demanding, more in the way of integrity from the Networks. People claim to test these psychics, and present them on web sites that say they have tested them, and certified them as authentic, here is my question “who are you”? and what are your credencials to test the Psychic Mediums”?

The answer I always get back is “Self Proclaimed” truth seekers who want to debunk the frauds and present the authentic Psychics, Mediums and Astrologers to the world, these “Self Proclaimed testers solve this problem by developing personal websites for their own financial gain, touting the Best of the best Psychic Directory, full of all of these supposide authentic Psychic Mediums and Astrologers.

If you are going to test people, then by what standards do you measure and are those standards universal? What I came to notice with these Psychics who plaster themselves on these websites they all seem to need more work, need to advertise join these websites after giving the owner a “free” reading and then they pay a “fee” to the tester and put their name up on his website as authentic because he or they say so.

The truth is the Psychics, Mediums, Astrologers and whiom ever else are paying to advertise their services under the quiz of legitamacy. Psychics labeled America’s # 1 Psychic, speaking about a local LA psychic challenege TV show, 20 people appeared on that show and the winner is labeled America’s #1 Psychic, that’s an impossible lable and you can’t consider the qualification realistic because it was developed on a show. The third way we are done a huge dis-service in this inductry is with the managers people who latch onto to talent and PR marketers who push psychics in the same circle their all ready dialed up in, they have a friend who runs a metaphysical magazine(s) or promptes the Air Fairy feel good regurazatated drival they’ve been pushing for years that make the rounds on stage with the lectures its always the same group. A group nof say of 8 or so Psychics Mediums frequent those pages and are pushed as top experts, some may be, but its not truthfull the PR firm is the same company who owns the distribution of the magazine, so its all closely knit.

The adverage person doesn’t know that and would fall for what appears to be authentic when in fact it contribed media marketing. Its true that is the Entertainment Industry on a whole, hower speaking as viewer it would be nice to see something incredible authentic and creative. Some Mediums advertise their skill as 4th generation clairvoyant as though that gives the more authenticity. It doesn’t our gifts are unique and because a parent or grandparent share an abiloity of anything doesn’t mean that it is the soul path you will take and it surely dosen’t mean that because their is natural ability that you will be able to do the work. This thinking goes along the lines of people who think that if they list their teachers it gives that much need edge, I look at the subject of teachers as a doubled edged sword, if an artist is born with a gift a teacher can in theory help mentor the young artist but more times then not teachers are ivested in their way and in our work the metaphysical works absolutely unique to each person who presents wit the gift, I do not believe that everyone has the ability of Psychic mediumship I do believe that people can develop personal intuitive or intuitive sight for their own experiences its a sixth sense but to take that gift and extend the gift into a survice of communication between worlds is a soul path and not just everyone can do it. Although I have to admit lately that so many clients are trying or thinking they can just pick up and do the work and that once again speaks to the endless stream of media nonescence and portrayal of people they say are Psychic Mediums who are not..

This brings to my biggest pet peeve I just finished doing an interview and was asked what my waiting list time is. Regardless of which Tv shows are airing and the potencial to get hundreds of call, its just such Bull Shit when Psychic Mediums talk about their waiting lists being 2 years 5 years or even 10 months. However you’ll notice on some Psychics websites they say if you need to talk now the charge is doble and that puts you to the top of the waiting list so what was a 500 dollar reading is now an emergency 1000 dollar reading. This to me is opportunistic and greedy its actually gross and gives people who really do do the work a bad name.. When you see this kind of thing or Psychic trying to push a discount now cause next month the price goes up you see someone wo is an ooportunist and tasking advantage of people in need.
As I told the reporter I will take appointment as people call and my time permits depending on my TV show schedule.

I don’t believe in waiting lists I will not hold people hostage with a 2 year waiting list after their child or loved one has died, they need immediate help realistsically do you think people are going to wait years to talk to the psychic? If I’m busy I will refer the clients to people whom I know to be authentic and I find it cruel and unjust to make people wait 5 months or 5 years knowing full well that they need answers immediately. To make people wait is cruel.

Morally the waiting list questions comes from a PR firms as an ego ploy to build a psychics reputation and make the feel important..and sought after.
If you had a question for example about your husbands health say he had cancer and you wanted answers would you wait 1 year or would you prefer I recommend someone who could help you immediately . That’s how real psychics handle it… I do not need to be seen as important. I know who I am!

As Mercury gets ready to go retrograde or retard motion; which means to slow, or give the appearance of back wards movement by degree through the sky. There is an exact mathematical point by degree, for this occurrence, once Mercury passes that point “it’s officially retrograde”.

Because the Indigo’s have come in to orchestrate change they have attitudes and attributes that give them the appearance of willfulness and aggression and stubborn determination forced behaviors and demanding things be done a certain way.

They are described as “behavioral” or “emotional problems” in school, as well as at home. There parents have no idea how to handle them and often would prefer not too because of the constant conflict.

Indigo Children know things and they are amazingly hooked up on an energy level and can express and exclude a tremendous force field, they are bossy, dominant and demand respect.

The Indigo’s job, is rooted in breaking down the barriers, especially those that have been followed blindly throughout time, without choice or creative observation. Their dynamic willpower causes the Indigo to become forceful and aggressive in action with a bluntness for verbalizing truths even in the face of angry retort and violence…
An Indigo Child will always point out the “bare” truth and facts speaking directly in the face of others not wishing to see that truth, and as a result Indigo’s are often cast out in society and labeled as rebel rousing, trouble making or in extreme cases murderous, evil, it boils down to not fitting into societal normalcy’s .

He is one Indigo who transcended the policy of the times, through his warrior stance against those who tried to silence him casting him out of society and inviting him back in during his 27 years , making him a truly remarkable example of an Indigo Child and their ability to demand change.

Indigo Children in this century go back to the mid 1940′s although you will see them in all generations, with a larger group of incremental births in the mid 60′s and then a total influx karmic ally of soul requests starting in the late 70′s thru the mid 1980′s.

The average Indigo child, if there is such a thing, is most likely someone in the family, who deliberately rebels against their families basic principals and decides to do something different, while voicing their discontent with the way their family operates.

They will become enraged at the slightest inkling of unjust of abusive actions taken against them, regardless of the reason and even if enacted within normal discipline practices. This will usually cause the Indigo Child to completely dominate their family unit or to find their way in the world at an early age and regardless of whether they stay in a small town or move to a big city, the Indigo Child will most definitely go against the normal societal structure of their environment.

As such we now have one full generation of Indigo children, who are currently adults capable of extending consciousness to other dimensions and other realities. As the Indigo children grow up and have their own children, the beginning of the evolutionary process along with DNA structural changes the progress the human existence, because of the procreation DNA of the indigo children and those genetics ties. The resulting births will produce children who’s development of a stronger second and third sighted intuitive abilities will probably spear head the advancement of the reproducing of the human body so we will no longer decay with age and then watch as their children develop the ability to exist strictly with in the mental body, not at all on a physical level

In March, the best/ worst we’ll see is Mars tracing a fascinating return to the start of Leo. It nearly slips back into Cancer before resuming its current, exceptionally long journey through the sign of the Lion. Ego ego and then more ego!

Spiritual is a way of life and you can’t gain insight into quickly by paying 10 grand to follow a person, you have to do your soul’s path, Mr. Ray was clearly in it for the money, he could have charged reasonable allowing himself profit and his guest’s knowledge, but he’s greedy! Shame on you!

Money”, How did Mr. Ray lead a spiritual sweat lodge journey without understanding the spiritual principal behind “sweat lodge’s” if you are knowledgeable about the practice of sweating, rather then taking the ideology for the sake of pretending behind mega spiritual guru status- translation “money accumulation”, you would be aware that Indian’s have traversed ritually into spiritual awareness through the sweat lodge process with small groups of people , not crammed sardines, wishing to journey into spiritual awareness.

They smoke and sweat for 20 to 30 minuets in a hot teepee designed for it’s ventilation and natural organic fiber coverings so the participants can breath comfortably, and focus on having their animal guides appear in order to confirm their spiritual journey, then break-reflect and go back a second time for another sweat at the end of the second sweat time, if they haven’t seen their animal guide, they are released, by the Indian elder and will come back when its the right time for them to reach a new spiritual level!

Their bodies and minds are a priority, they are hydrated in between and much contemplation is given to spiritual attunement. We are big fans of Zakk Wylde and in 2009 we are going to see this man emerge in a new and exciting way, We applaude his efforts to step into himself and be true to himself.

A little history on Zakk:
Wylde started playing the guitar at the age of 14 and worked at Silverton Music in Silverton, New Jersey. He grew up in Jackson, New Jersey, and went to Jackson Memorial High School, where he graduated in 1985. Wylde has stated that he would practice playing the guitar as much as 12 hours per day and often would play the guitar almost non-stop between coming home from school and leaving for school the next morning, then sleeping through the school day.

Growing up, Wylde played locally with his first band, “Stone Henge”, then later with local Jersey band “Zyris”. He was taught by neo classical guitarist Sean Roche. Years later, the then unknown 19 year-old Wylde landed the coveted role as lead guitarist and co-writer for Ozzy Osbourne. He sent Ozzy a demo tape in 1987 and was hired to replace Jake E. Lee. Jake E. Lee had replaced the deceased Randy Rhoads, Ozzy’s principal guitarist in the post-Black Sabbath period, beginning in late 1979. Wylde has stated that he has no respect for musicians who release material “not true to themselves”. The late Randy Rhoads, a rock original, remains Wylde’s foremost guitar-playing and stagecraft influence.

On January 17, 2006, Zakk Wylde was immortalized at the Hollywood Rock Walk of Fame located at 7425 Sunset Blvd, featuring his handprints and signature, in recognition of his successful career as a musician and his contribution to the music industry. The event was open to the public and many rock celebrities were present, including Ozzy Osbourne.

Our Christmas Vacation was as a comedy of error staring at 3.30am at Los Angeles International Airport the lines of people delayed for two or more days. We checked in and boarded the plane
for Seattle at 6am, well then we were delayed by a rather odd request, apparently their was no fuel for our plane and their was no fuel truck for our plane.

That was a little un nerving especially with the gas prices as low as they are… we didn’t know what to make of that? Three hours delayed and then landing in Seattle only to miss or connection to Spoken, and be put on “standby” another 3 hour delay and we boarded for Spoken, we landed just before the airport closed, however our luggage did not.

“Figures” so we waited another 3 hours till bags arrived. We got to the rental car and realized that although they rent cars they do not rent cars with snow tires even tough they know they have massive snow, so we hit the highway North in the dark for a 5 hour snow blizzard adventure almost hitting mountain sheep and deer, all the while sliding all over the road..
I admit we had to stop at Costco to stock up on food as Canadian’s way over charge for their groceries. We arrived at our destination Trail B.C. at Midnight for a fabulous week of skiing at Red Mountain. 4 feet of snow the first night, fresh, freezing, wonderful snow, boarding and skiing, no waiting lines!

We stayed with our Canadian Bella cousins, Jay, Cassidy, Thomas, Delaney, Stephanie, and Deb! We had a blast waiting for Santa to make it through the mounds of snow and bring us chocolate!
Well that’s what he brought me… It’s funny how culturally similar yet different a Country as close as Canada is to the US can be. I have now figured out why they like to cook so much and drink soooo much? because it’s so cold outside they really can’t do anything but cook and eat and then drink, its so different then living in California where we are lucky enough to have Sun shine almost everyday of the year, we wear tee shirts in 80 degree weather in the middle of January! I found I was able to survive the cold and snow shoveling, which people say is good exerscise, however I have to disagree it’s just hard no end to it work.

I noticed the neighbors shovel snow 5 or 6 times a day to keep driveways clear and seem to have a compulsion, The Canadian Bella’s were being shunned while we were there because of the high snow driveway levels, basically making everyone in the neighbor put the pressure on us to keep shoveling, sorry just couldn’t. I think my favorite thing about Canada is “Coffee Crisp” Chocolate bars- coffee and chocolate together, what more do you want! and 222′s (over the counter codeine, legal in Can) I don’t use them, but I get good millage from my American friends who covet these miracle pills.

The story of Red Mountain Resort, and how a mining territory was converted into one of the great undiscovered ski destinations in the world, is a story about teamwork and community support. In short, it’s about an avid group of skiers who drew from their own community’s resources and used good old-fashioned initiative and elbow grease to forge a new way of life.In 1890, deposits of gold-copper ore were found on the south side of Red Mountain in Canada ‘s Monashee Mountain Range. The discovery led to a major gold rush, which in turn filled Rossland with miners, mostly Scandinavians but also gold-seekers from countries around the world.The Scandinavians brought with them their knowledge and love of skiing and soon organized the Rossland Ski Club, which held the first recorded ski competitions in Canada . The first downhill race was held on Feb. 15, 1896, from the top of Red Mountain down the south side to the present location of the Rossland Historical Museum .The race was organized and won by Olaus Jeldness, a Norwegian mining engineer who was the leading early advocate for snowsports in Rossland. He also created and donated the elaborate Jeldness trophy for future winners of the race. The trophy is now on display in the Western Canada Ski Hall of Fame. In subsequent years, annual tournaments were held in conjunction with the Rossland Winter Carnival, an event that attracted competitors and spectators from all over Western Canada and the United States.

The 1920s

As skiing technology improved, local skiers were able to experience a wider variety of the terrain around Rossland. On Red Mountain , skiers began to explore old mining and logging roads. They enjoyed skiing on trails and hills that had been packed by climbing and descending skiers over the years. In 1929, the Trail-Rossland Ski Club was founded with about 20 original members.

The 1930s

In 1933, another ski club, the Rossland Ski Club, which had been formed and disbanded years earlier, was formally re-organized. During the summer and fall of 1934, volunteers from the club cleared a jump hill, built a jump, and constructed a cabin on Red Mountain . Many competitions were held on the Rossland Ski Club hill, including the Western Canadian Amateur finals. A few years later, the two local clubs worked together to install a gas-driven rope tow at the base of Red Mountain . This tow, which significantly increased the amount and the number of downhill runs a skier could make in a day, was used extensively by members of both clubs for several years.

The 1940s

The Red Mountain Ski Club and the Trail Ski Club combined in 1947 to form the Red Mountain Ski Club. The organizations pooled their resources to build a lodge (that still serves as the main lodge in the base area today) and a chairlift to the top of Red Mountain where the rope tow previously existed. The lift was officially opened Friday, Dec. 26, 1947. Later that season Red hosted the annual Triple I International Intercollegiate Invitational ski meet.

The 1950s

The 1950s were years of steady growth both in membership of the club and visitors to Red from areas outside of Rossland. To keep up, additional terrain was cleared for ski runs including the back trail on Red Mountain . The former Trail Ski Club rope tow was moved to the west side of the slope and electrified (it was later replaced by a T-bar lift). Also in the 1950s, the lodge was completed and the ski patrol was organized at Red Mountain .

The 1960s

During the ‘60s, ski lessons were arranged for the general public, along with special instruction for promising youngsters. This was the start of the Red Mountain Racers. In 1960, the Red Mountain Ski Club installed a Poma detachable chairlift from the lodge all the way up to Back Trail. In 1961, a full-time manager was hired, and in 1965, the Granite Mountain chairlift – twice as long and twice as high as the Red Mountain chairlift – was built.
The lift more than doubled the accessible terrain at Red. The year 1968 was a big one for the Red Mountain Ski Club. In March, the club hosted the first-ever World Cup in Canada , which attracted every major racer from around the world. Rossland native Nancy Greene won her second World Cup championship at this race.

The 1970s

In 1971, a T-bar was installed, and in 1973 the old Red Mountain lift was finally replaced with a Mueller double-occupancy chairlift. In April 1976, the club authorized the borrowing of money for a triple-occupancy chairlift to be built in Paradise Basin , located on the west side of Granite Mountain .

The 1980s

As Red kept expanding throughout the years, its facilities needed continuous improvement. By the fall of 1987, the Red Mountain Ski Club’s debt totaled $1,105,000 and it became obvious that a major injection of capital was required. Thus, in 1988, the club was put up for sale. On May 3, 1989 , the club accepted an offer from Eric Skat-Peterson (‘Skat’), who led a group of six Canadian private investors in the purchase.

The 1990s

In 1991, the new ownership group financed the construction of the Paradise Lodge. And, four years later, Skat and his partners replaced the Granite chairlift with the Silverlode and Motherlode triple chairs.

A New Century

In June 2004, Red was again sold, this time to a private investment group led by Howard Katkov of San Diego , California. The Red Mountain Ventures master plan is to construct up to 1,400 on-mountain dwelling units and 70,000 square feet of commercial space at Red over the next 10 to 15 years.

A number of exciting additions are currently underway at Red Mountain Resort and the surrounding base area with the following items scheduled to open for the 2007/08 winter season:

New Chairlift & Expanded Beginner Terrain: Opening December 2007 is the Dopplemayr CTEC Quad Charlift. The quad chairlift replaces the current Silverlode chair. It will also be aligned to access the new beginner and intermediate terrain which spans over 100 acres.

Terrain Park: Get ready for Red’s newly and improved terrain park. Summer grooming and grading has enhanced the park’s terrain. New features include a sound system, new jumps and a skier/boarder-cross.

Magic Carpet: The magic carpet will be extended and moved behind the Kindercare building and The Mountain Project headquarters. This improved magic carpet will allow for a more gradual slope for beginners and easy access from the Snowsports School. In addition, the T-bar will continue to be easily accessible from the top of the magic carpet.

The Mountain Project: Red Mountain Resort launched The Mountain Project in January 2007, a new platform for the development of products for outdoor disciplines and for redefining what it means to live within one of nature’s greatest playgrounds. The Mountain Project at Red is a multi-year program which brings together all aspects of mountain life into a single, integrated environment. TMP was conceived to foster dialogue and incubate community among athletes and artists, guides and enthusiasts, designers and users, with the aim of cultivating and sharing knowledge, supported by the amenities of a four season resort. The Mountain Project represents the first time in snow industry history that a resort has planned its operations end-to-end under a single value-based initiative. In essence, TMP turns the people of Rossland and visitors of Red Mountain Resort into a unique focus group for equipment innovation and the sustainability of one of North America’s most authentic mountain communities.

Snowsports School Relocation: Relocated to The Mountain Project headquarters the Snowsports School will provide accessibility not only to great instructors but also to a wide variety of outbound guiding options, avalanche control classes, and to a testing center of the latest gear.

Snowshoe loop: The newly enhanced snowshoe loop provides a wide variety of activity for athletes of all levels. Take a peaceful hike on Red Mountain Resort’s snowshoe loop and enjoy the beautiful outdoors for which Rossland is famous.

Developments: Scheduled to open its doors for the 2007-08 winter season at Red is the luxurious Slalom Creek condominium complex. Slalom Creek will add 67 ski-in/ski-out condominium units at the base of Red and will feature well-appointed 2- and 3-bedroom units ranging from 1,200 square feet to 1,500 square feet (111 square meters to 140 square meters). Slalom Creek will also include spacious common areas and a private, secure 85-stall underground parking garage making it easier for residents and their guests to enjoy Red’s world-renowned terrain and host of on-mountain destination activities.

Bringing additional units to the base area by the end of 2008, the Morning Star development will feature 18 luxury suites while TMP Compound will bring an additional 24 units to the base with a strong focus on green building techniques.
